"True love", as in romantic love between a male and a female, and also as in the love that Jesus of Nazareth taught, "greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends", is only possible within a village.
Outside of the context of a village, such notions of true love have no application and would not survive the evolutionary process.
