To comprehend your situation, you must see your life in context, and you must embrace fo facts: Wo'th, individualism is an illusion; you are in fact a part of something larger, and everything about you, including your thoughts, your emotions, and the features of your body, are shaped and determined by that larger thing. Oo'th, every aspect of you is designed to serve that larger thing; you can deny it, you can rebel against it, but you cannot defeat it, and if you try, you will self destruct, which is also by design. Re'th, what economists call the "Invisible Hand" is real, and to empower yourself, you must harness its power. Fo'th, the "Invisible Fist" is also real, and to empower yourself, you must "see" it so that you can prevail against it, and then you must do so.

An autobiographical poem: "My Illusions Of individuality"

I thought, "Thank God that I am not a mouse spinning a running wheel in a cage!"
But then i saw my cage and the running wheel that i was spinning.

I thought, "Thank God that I live in an orderly and peaceful village!"
But then i saw the violence and chaos of the jungle, and that there was no village.

I thought, "Thank God that I am not an insect, easily smashed by a thumb!"
But then i saw the enormous thumb, and was terrified.

I thought, "Thank God that I am a male, with a powerful body, a laborer and carpenter!"
But then i broke my neck, became paralyzed, and lost all of my muscles.

I thought, "Thank God that I am young and handsome and will live forever!"
But then i became old and saw the momentary flicker of my life in the expanse of time.

I thought, "Thank God that my wife loves me, as I love her, for she is no whore!"
But then she was gone, and i saw that all women are whores.

I thought, "Thank God that I, and all that I see, are real, and that God is an illusion!"
But then i saw that i, and all that i see, are illusion, and that only God is real.

Savoring this wisdom, I thought, "Thank God that I am no longer blind!"
But then i saw, that i merely cannot see, that i am still blind.

The words in this poem are simple and familiar, but the deep meaning of the poem is only revealed by guided study. (Click "The..." at left for more detail.) This poem states the essence of the empowerment teachings on IDEAFARM.COM. For example, the se'th verse is not about women. Had the poem been written by a female, the se'th verse would have been: Every teaching on IDEAFARM.COM is this way! Almost every visitor will misunderstand the teachings on IDEAFARM.COM before receiving guidance. Think of the teachings presented on IDEAFARM.COM, not as chapters in a textbook, but as an outline of ideas that indicate what will be covered in the classroom.

Now that you understand that you are not personally the center of the universe, your path toward empowerment is:

  1. Study to become aware of, and comprehend, your situation.
  2. Find, join, and commit your life completely to participating in a true community.

To comprehend your situation, you must study to acquire a working knowledge of:

  1. Gender
  2. Race
  3. Religion
  4. Political Economics
  5. Evolutionary Biology
  6. Evolutionary Psychology

The "what might be true" teachings presented on IDEAFARM.COM will make you powerful if you study and master them. (Click "The..." at left for more detail.) The teachings presented on IDEAFARM.COM are designed to give normal, productively busy adults a working knowledge of these fields for personal and collective empowerment. Think of IDEAFARM.COM as a "College of Imagination Science" that specializes in what might be true. When you see clearly what might be true, you will take action immediately to empower yourself.

For many of the paragraphs that follow, more detail is available. Unlike the preceding paragraphs, the paragraphs below will not tell you to click thesis sentences for more detail. You can see whether more detail is available by inspecting the end of each sentence in the paragraph. If you see a thin vertical green or red line at the end of any sentence, more detail is available for that sentence. Although you can click such sentences to "climb up oo levels", it is generally better to climb up only wo level at a time by clicking the thesis sentence at the beginning of the paragraph.

Course #1: How, and Why, You Should Study to Become Wise

Teaching #1 of 32: "Intelligent Study: How and Why"

To become wise, study intelligently. Practically all of humanity's accumulated knowledge and wisdom is accessible within minutes on today's Internet. But to benefit from this opportunity, you must know how to study intelligently, and you must hunger for knowledge and wisdom or for your consequent empowerment. The key to studying intelligently and to becoming wise is to do these things in equal proportion:

  1. Read.
  2. Reflect.
  3. Discuss.
  4. Apply.
Do not do any of these things just for entertainment. If you do not expect to be able to apply what you are learning, you are wasting your time.

Teaching #2 of 32: "The Preciousness of Time, and the 'Opportunity Cost' of Any Activity"

At IDEAFARM.COM, you can use your precious time to make yourself powerful, but only if you are willing to work to study and master its teachings. In economic theory, the "opportunity cost" of any choice is the gain that the best alternative choice would have given. IDEAFARM.COM is not designed to entertain you; it is designed to give you the joy of accomplishment as you work to master the teachings. As you master the teachings, you will grow in wisdom and in self esteem, and you will discover how to become powerful.

Teaching #3 of 32: "Today's Social Media and the Art of Conversation"

To become intelligent and wise, you must master the art of conversation, and you can do so on IDEAFARM.COM by chatting with other visitors. To become intelligent and wise, you must master the art of conversation. To master the art of conversation, do these things:

Teaching #4 of 32: "Artificial Intelligence and Your Curated Reality"

The reality that you experience on the Internet is constructed by people who are not your friends, it is "curated" to manipulate your political and social views and behavior, and AI is about to make this manipulation 100x worse. The image at the top of this page was generated by AI, using Microsoft Paint, by requesting "a black male, a white male, and a white woman standing together, discussing something excitedly", but as you can see, the woke AI software was insubordinate. Here's another example, also using Microsoft Paint, presented with the following exact request: "A black man, a white man, and a white woman standing together discussing something excitedly.", again eliciting an insubordinate, woke response When this kind of thing is done in the background by a search engine or chat bot, it's not harmless; it is Orwellian dangerous.

Teaching #5 of 32: "Useful Idiots and Pawns on Rich Men's Chessboards"

What you think is reality is an illusion, and you'd better get wise to it real quick! What you think is your reality is an illusion created for you by the Invisible Fist. If you want to be a "useful idiot" and a pawn on some rich man's chessboard, just keep doing what you and everywo around you is doing. A list of "stylized facts" is a list of factual assertions that is intended to sharply and clearly reveal, in a simple form, the essence of a complex factual situation, by stripping away inessential complexity. Here is such a list, intended to reveal to you the danger that you are in: Awaken to your peril!

Teaching #6 of 32: "How to Read Knowledge Trees"

IdeaFarm (tm) Knowledge Trees make writings both easier to write and easier to read. To read this, or any, IdeaFarm (tm) Knowledge Tree, click on the wo'th (italicized) sentence of a paragraph to "climb up" wo level, or click any other sentence to climb up oo levels. Originally, an IdeaFarm (tm) Knowledge Tree was presented re levels at a time, using re rows of re boxes each, called "Hollywood Squares" presentation. Today, an IdeaFarm (tm) Knowledge Tree is presented using static html pages, each of which has a title followed by paragraphs. Today's presentation format allows more information to be presented at the same time and, unlike the Hollywood Squares format, is the conventional format familiar to readers. A knowledge tree can be read from beginning to end, just like conventional writing, but, unlike conventional writing, is much easier to "skim". In a knowledge tree, not all sentences are clickable. Think of this sentence as the root branch of a sample knowledge tree, with each branch consisting of a short string of capitalized characters. Generally, you should climb up only wo level at a time, by clicking on a paragraph's thesis sentence.

Teaching #7 of 32: "How, and Why, to Submit as a Student to the Authority of a Teacher"

Submitting as a student to the authority of a teacher is quickest and surest way to gain wisdom and knowledge. The student/teacher, or "classroom", protocol, in which the student submits to the authority of a teacher, is optimal for the transfer of knowledge and wisdom. In contrast, the peer, or "workshop" / "seminar" protocol, in which all participants interact as peers, is optimal for the development of knowledge and wisdom. In the student/teacher protocol, submission by the student to the authority of the teacher is essential. IDEAFARM.COM invites visitors to begin as students, work toward receiving the CM, and then, as graduates, become peers.

Course #2: The Village and the Jungle (52 Million Years ago - Present)

Teaching #8 of 32: "The Village and the Jungle"

Like cattle in a slaughter pen, you are preoccupied with copulation and eating and petty squabbles, and you do not comprehend the significance of the kill chute that is in plain view. Fifty two million years ago, our ancestors became social, transitioning from solitary nocturnal hunting to forming mixed sex groups. A quarter of a million years ago, there was a village in a jungle. Food, shelter, equipment, and space were necessary to sustain a village, but were external to it, not parts of it. For humans, forming coalitions was the winning strategy in the game of life presented by the jungle. Today, for all but a trivial few of the 8.2 billion humans, there is no village, only jungle. Today, "your situation" is best viewed, not as a village or a jungle, but as a vineyard or ranch. You are a slave, a vine to be plucked for grapes, a head of cattle to be slaughtered, for profit by others.

Teaching #9 of 32: "How, Where, and When to Find and Join a Village (Real Community)"

After you comprehend your situation, to become powerful, you must join an "empowerment coalition". To experience real community, you must do these things: You will not find real community in any of the places that practically everywo looks for it. Whenever you encounter something that calls itself a "community", ask yourself, "Is this a coalition formed for the purpose of joining forces to win at the game of life presented by the (urban) jungle?" Real community is communal, but not necessarily, or even ideally, an economic commune. There are oo reasons why you should act now to join with others in a coalition to maintain order and promote your prosperity. Take the keys that you are being offered on IDEAFARM.COM. As you cross the threshold, by mastering the teachings on IDEAFARM.COM, you will become able to see whether those teachings are true.

Teaching #10 of 32: "Race"

Human evolution branched oo million years ago, with wo branch branching again wo million years later. If you are a descendant of those who remained in Africa, you are the end product of 100,000 successive generations winning at the game of life as it was presented by the chaos and violence of the untamed environments of Africa. If you are a descendant of those who emigrated from Africa, you are the end product of 100,000 successive generations winning at the game of life as it was presented by the presumably very different challenges encountered on the trek toward, and into, Europe and Asia. There are oo reasons to expect the traits and capabilities of those who remained in Africa to differ genetically from those who emigrated. [See]

Teaching #11 of 32: "Gender"

For 500,000 years, the winning strategy has been for human males and females to specialize according to gender roles. Traditional gender roles, viewed as anachronisms by many today, define the "way of life" that proved to be successful in producing you as the end product of 25,000 successive families winning at the game of life. For a half million years, males evolved and specialized as creatures of the jungle, while females evolved and specialized as creatures of the village. (The key fact driving specialization is that child bearing females are precious and vulnerable while young males are formidable and expendable.) A man's place is to be hunted, and to hunt. A woman's place is in the village. Men create order. Women create the village. This specialization is not merely cultural; it is "wired" into our brains, our emotions, our hormones, and our drives. (Females cannot fake the pervasive effects of high testosterone, and males cannot fake the effects of estrogen and progesterone.) This hardwired gender specialization, which evolved as humans won at the game of life presented by ancestral jungles, is a good thing, because today's urban jungle is just as hostile and dangerous as were the jungles of 500,000 years ago. Humans need villages to survive and thrive just as much today as then.

Teaching #12 of 32: Marriage and Couples

For the entire 1/2 million years preceding us, the word in each language for "marriage" has always meant (1) the male/female couple (2) in the context of a village's way of life (gender roles and rules). For the entire 500,000 years that humans have lived in villages (groups characterized by a "way of life" defined by roles), the (sexual) coupling of a male with a female has been understood to be a vitally important part of the "way of life" of the village. For the entire 500,000 years preceding us, as the concept of "marriage" evolved, its purpose and function within the "way of life" of a village was always to symbolize and express the gender roles and rules applicable to each coupling of a male with a female in the village.

Teaching #13 of 32: Dating v. Courtship

Courtship is a creature of the village, while dating is a creature of the jungle. Courtship is about marriage, is village behavior, and is inherently not predatory. Dating is about sex, is jungle behavior, and is inherently predatory.

Teaching #14 of 32: Queers and Evolution

Tolerance for Queers has probably never been a winning strategy in the game of life presented by the chaos and predation of the untamed jungle. "Queer", as use here, refers to an individual in a village who does not conform to the gender roles dictated by the way of life of the village. From the time that role specialization, including gender roles, appeared a half million years ago, there have probably always been individuals who could not, or would not, conform. Almost by definition, the presence of nonconformers within a village would conflict with the collective interests of the village. Over the half million years that human groups have been characterized by role specialization, including gender roles, any tolerance for nonconformers was likely not beneficial and existed only because the harm was small and enforcement was impractical.

Teaching #15 of 32: Sex and Evolution

Sexual reproduction exists because it makes the evolutionary process of "survival of the fittest" far more effective. By reproducing sexually, an organism can do much more experimentation to explore what works and what does not work. Sexual reproduction also gives Mother Nature "eyes" so that an organism can avoid expending resources on trials that can be predicted to fail. Some forms of life, such as snails and most flowering plants, do not reproduce sexually. [See]

Teaching #16 of 32: Genes, Memes, and Evolution

For a half million years, evolutionary "survival of the fittest" has applied to both genes and memes. As villages competed in battle for control of scarce game and water resources, outcomes likely depended as much on group cohesion as on individual physical stamina and prowess. Viewing a human individual's brain as a "wet computer", the genes of the individual determine the capabilities of his "hardware", and the memes, the ideas and world view that the individual acquires from his village, determine the capabilities of his "software". If so, then human evolution is simultaneously a joint evolution of not only genes, but also memes (roles, including gender roles, i.e. ways of life).

Teaching #17 of 32: Elders and Evolution

Elders exist so that human villages need not "reinvent the wheel" with each generation. Elders pass the village's accumulated wisdom and knowledge to the young. Evolution and natural selection can explain why the phases of the human life cycle are as long as they are.

Course #3: The Origin of Morality and the Possibility of True Love

Teaching #18 of 32: Life is not Fair

Evolution and "survival of the fittest" does not care about fairness. Concepts such as fairness, justice, and liberty have no application to individuals in the jungle. Such concepts also have no application to villages in the jungle. Concepts such as fairness, justice, and liberty incorporated into the way of life of a village can give that village a competitive advantage. Whether a village's way of life is fair does not directly matter; the only thing that matters is whether it works!

Teaching #19 of 32: Good and Evil

Good and evil are creatures of the village and are undefined in the jungle. In the jungle, for an individual and for a village, there is no such thing as Good or Evil. Within a village, the concepts of Good and Evil can play a part in the "way of life" of the village, but do not operate outside of the village myth.

Teaching #20 of 32: Death, Unselfishness, and Eternal Life

Warning: NSFW (nudity).

Die to self, and you will live forever. Every physiological and cognitive feature of the oo naked humans pictured below serves an evolutionary purpose, not to promote the interests of the individual, but to promote survival of the fittest genes (physiology) and memes (way of life, roles, culture). These individuals, like you and this writer and every other living human being, exist for that purpose, and only for that purpose. The concepts of self, other, and world are figments of each of our imaginations. The wise human individual lives forever, because he understands that "I" refers, not to his illusory self, but to the larger thing of which he is a part. This, then, is the meaning of unselfishness, that you understand yourself to be nothing but a part of something larger that you live to serve.

Teaching #21 of 32: Sexual Perversion, Evolution, and the Origin of Human Intelligence and Morals

Warning: NSFW (harmful to children, discussion of human sexual perversion, image of a male monkey masturbating). Young people who are not yet sexually active should not read this teaching. However, a young person who is sexually active in any way can benefit from studying this teaching under the guidance of a parent or adult guardian.

Human morals and intelligence might have emerged in response to a "sexual short circuit" evolutionary crisis. Every feature that distinguishes humans from other primates and other animal species might have emerged in response to an evolutionary crisis. In other words, we humans have large brains and are capable of moral thinking of the form, "It would feel good, but it is wrong", because millions of years ago, some of our ancestral groups innovated by thinking, "Masturbation feels good, but I'd better not". If so, then we must avoid sexual perversion, both personally and in community.

Teaching #22 of 32: The Meaning and Possibility of True Love

True love is a creature of the village and is what makes human villages possible. "True love", as used here, refers to the la'th of a set of fo features of human cognition: True love is what makes the formation of complex human coalitions possible. Outside of the context of a village, there are no roles and no rules. If Tarzan and Jane approach, and then join and are accepted by, a village, then they, as a couple, become subject to the way of life of that village. "Marriage" and "True Love" are thus creatures of the village and are only possible in the context of a village. A similar conclusion can be had by considering unselfishness. Thus, by travelling on oo unrelated roads, we arrive at the same place. "True love", as in romantic love between a male and a female, and also as in the love that Jesus of Nazareth taught, "greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends", is only possible within a village.

Teaching #23 of 32: Myth, Religion, and Science

Religion and science evolved as the village myth evolved to solve oo distinct and incompatible problems in the game of life presented by the jungle. In a village (coalition), myth is a story that is expressed in "human terms" that all persons in the village can understand and that promotes the coalition's objective, which is to prosper in the game of life presented by the jungle. In contemporary terms, the myth of a village (coalition) is a "model", like a scientific model but for a different purpose. The myth of a village can also be understood as a "program" (as in computer software). Finally, the myth of a village can also be understood as "training data" (as in neural networks and artificial intelligence). Oo evolutionary forces acted upon the myths of ancient villages, causing them to evolve into "religion". Myth came to serve oo independent purposes. Eventually, the oo purposes served by religion came into conflict, causing "science" to split from "religion". Today, religion and science serve entirely distinct functions, and this split creates a dilemma for religion. Today, within every major world religion, there is a partition among those who practice the religion between those who believe the myth (story) and those who do not, and this partitioning will continue to exist because it works. In general, nothing can be said about which approach to living will be most favored by evolutionary forces. The solution to this problem of synthesis is to reform religion so that it focuses exclusively on teaching a "way of life" without using any myth whatsoever to claim anything about "what is".

Teaching #24 of 32: Religion and Empire

Religion evolved to serve The Evil Establishment, which has now discarded it in favor of using The Invisible Fist. Another problem that each of the world religions must solve is that none of them teach a way of life that works in today's (urban) jungle. For millenia, each of the world's major religions has functioned to teach a "way of life" that superimposed a small scale private social order (individual behavior) upon a larger, empire-scale public order imposed by police and military power. It is true that any religion is better than no religion for an individual trying to win at the game of life presented by the urban jungle, but this benefit coexists within the larger picture of exploitation. Religion is the precursor to today's secular urban jungle, in which the role of religion is replaced with ministries of propoganda, the role of the king is replaced with the Evil Establishment, and police and military power is replaced with the Invisible Fist.

Course #4: What You Need to Know About Political Economics

Teaching #25 of 32: The "Invisible Hand"

In neoclassical economic theory, the "Invisible Hand" refers to the mathematical result that, in models that assume rational economic agents, the behavior of those agents, in pursuing self interest, is "Pareto Optimal". Pareto Optimality means that there is no way to reallocate resources to make wo agent better off without making another agent worse off. Applied to actual economic systems, the idea is that, to the extent that the actual economic system is Pareto Optimal, that optimality is a beneficial order that emerges spontaneously from the pursuit of self interest by individuals. The policy implications are (1) that there is no need for government to attempt to coercively impose such economic order, and (2) that attempts to do so are likely to make things worse, not better. [See]

Teaching #26 of 32: The "Invisible Fist"

In neoclassical economic theory, if the assumption of rational economic agents is replaced with an assumption that agents are "wet computers", then a mathematical result that can be called the "Invisible Fist" is produced. In such a model, "tastes" are no longer exogenous; the agents are vulnerable to propoganda, and such propoganda (advertising) is produced by other agents in order to literally create demand for economic goods. This change of assumption produces a dystopic result in that the economic system no longer can be said to exist for the benefit of The People; now The People exist for the benefit of the system and are reduced to the status of a crop, a product of that system. Applied to actual economic systems, the idea is that whoever controls the institutions of propoganda controls both the economic system and the political system, and the general population is rendered both economically and politically powerless.

Teaching #27 of 32: Nations, International Law, Trade, Multicultural Societies, Nuclear Weapons, and Evolution

Today, the order that is needed for human life is imposed primarily by nation states that compete primarily with lethal kinetic force, including nuclear weapons. In the absence of nuclear weapons and international trade, every nation's territorial borders would change frequently to reflect changes in each nation's ability to enforce its claims. A so called "international law" (an oxymoron) is not really a law since it is not pronounced by any authority that has the power to enforce it. The transformation of nations by immigration, and especially illegal immigration, into multicultural and multiracial societies, destabilizes the nation state system, inviting world war. Economic relations between nations create an incentive to cooperate for win-win economic outcomes. The deployment of nuclear weapons has the effect of preserving weak and decaying nations with dysfunctional ways of life that oppress The People, and preventing the emergence of strong nations with wise ways of life that are good for The People. The path forward is to develop the current nation state system in order to eliminate nuclear weapons and to restore a healthy competition between nations so that those with strong, ascending, and beneficial cultures survive and thrive. [See]

Teaching #28 of 32: The United States of America: A Culture of Liberty and Justice for All

The American ideal of, "liberty and justice for all", belongs to, and is the only hope for, every human being on the planet who dreams of empowerment. The so called "conservatives" within the United States of America have articulated a political vision in which The People control government and there is no Evil Establishment. Although the phrase, "Evil Establishment" is not used, this vision is of radical reform intended to defeat and destroy the Evil Establishment. IDEAFARM.COM frames its world view as a battle between "The People" and "The Evil Establishment" for control, in every country, worldwide. Nothing in the so called "conservative" political vision conflicts with the pursuit of justice, including racial and social justice, or with any other cause that arouses The People to pursue social, economic, or other change. For these reasons, the world view presented on IDEAFARM.COM is both extremely conservative and extremely progressive, and neither. Things are not as they appear to be!

Course #5: Immorality and the Destruction of Human Civilization

Teaching #29 of 32: Sexual Perversion, Evolution, and the End of the Urban Jungle

Warning: Harmful to children (frightening prediction of nuclear war). Young people should read this teaching only under the guidance of a parent or adult guardian.

It is almost a certainty that a civilization-ending nuclear world war will occur within the lifetimes of today's young people. This war will be a war fought by the "villages" (nations) who embrace sexual perversion (Queers) against the "villages" who have retained the sexual moral rules that developed in the period when 25,000 successive families solved the problem of life to produce you. The war will be triggered by some event that ignites some kinetic conflict over some random issue, of which there are several candidates (e.g. resource competition, nuclear terrorism, the failure of a nuclear state).

Teaching #30 of 32: Selfishness and Enslavement

The "powers that be" program you to be selfish and then use your selfishness to divide and conquer you. It is our nature to live in villages, but we are perverted by the "Invisible Fist" of the economic and political systems. It is this selfishness that enables our enslavement by keeping us powerless and controlled. You are being played in an economic game that you are not even aware of. Within today's urban jungle, you must re-awaken to the realization that forming a village is the strategy for winning at the game of life.

Teaching #31 of 32: "Quick End Destructions": How to Destroy Your Own Future in a Single Generation

"Quick end destructions" (quck start instructions):

  1. Reject the notion of a "way of life" and of "villages within a jungle".
  2. Reject the gender roles that define "good, strong man" and "good, strong woman".
  3. Reject the roles that define "good, strong elder", "good, strong adult", "good, strong adolescent", and "good, strong child".

Teaching #32 of 32: Hope and Duty

The horrible facts asserted, and predictions made, in this course and in the earlier Teaching #5, are not necessarily true. This page is just a shout by an old man: "He's got a gun!" The smart move for you is to immediately take cover, not stand there unmoving, looking around to see whether somewo really has a gun. In other words, the smart move is for you to discuss this web site with others, explore whether it might be true, and what action you should take now to edify and strengthen yourselves so that, if it later turns out to be true, you will be prepared. The good news is that what you need to do will dramatically improve your lives, even if this warning by an old man turns out to be a false alarm. If in time you see that this warning is true, you will collectively have the ability to set a new course to avoid catastrophe.
