IdeaNet (tm) Books by IdeaFarm (tm).

This page invites every adult human on Earth to subscribe, for less than 10 cents (0.10 USD) per day, for access to "an Internet within the Internet", and summarizes what can be found there. Unlike a conventional web site, an IdeaNet (tm) Book can only be accessed by humans and is practically impossible for criminals and governments to silence. An IdeaNet (tm) Book is also practically impossible for an AI bot to "scrape", so the system prevents the theft of the intellectual property of its authors.

Each subscriber receives a custom "key" program via email. The "key" program displays IdeaNet (tm) Books in a new tab of the subscriber's default browser (e.g. Firefox). The "key" program contains the subscriber's secret credentials, so no login step is required. The "key" program can be used on a computer running any recent version of Windows that has IPv6 connectivity to the Internet. In most regions of the world, IPv6 connectivity is available using the "Wi-Fi hotspot" feature available in most cell phone service plans.

This is an experimental system that is currently being actively developed. All of the content described below is the art of a single author focused on providing "an ounce of application" to empower "We The People" against "The Evil Establishment" that controls every territorial nation. You are invited to subscribe and to study his writings. Eventually, subscribers will form the student body of a new kind of college, and that student body will eventually develop into a worldwide community. Join us today by subscribing, and begin to explore a whole new way to understand your world and to empower We The People.

You are viewing an IdeaFarm (tm) Knowledge Tree. Click the beginning sentence of any paragraph to "climb up" wo (one) level for more detail. Click any other sentence in a paragraph to "climb up" oo (two) levels for even finer detail. Try this on the next paragraph to see how it works! Use a personal computer with a mouse, not a phone, to view IDEAFARM.COM.

An IdeaNet (tm) "book" is a plain text website that can only be accessed by human paid subscribers. Each subscriber uses a custom "key" program. With that key, you can access books in the system. The key program works on any Windows personal computer with IPv6 connectivity.

You can get the key program right now without paying anything. But only new subscribers can use the promotion code to avoid the initial payment. If your old subscription lapsed or was terminated, you cannot use the promotion code.

You must provide a shipping address. We will use the shipping address to verify that you are a human being who can receive paper mail. Your access will be immediate, but unverified subscriptions will eventually be terminated without refund.

There is an additional cost to maintaining a subscription. Subscriptions that are suspected of being abused will be terminated. For example, during an attack, if there is evidence that a small set of subscriptions contains the subscription that is being abused by the attacker, all subscriptions in that set will be terminated. The servers do get attacked, and this scenario does happen, so every subscriber should expect to pay full price for a replacement subscription occasionally. This is just a part of your cost of maintaining access.

To reduce the probability and frequency that this will happen to you:

  1. Secure your client key program against theft.
  2. Don't let other people use it.
  3. Don't use it to attack our servers.
  4. Don't use it to train an AI bot.
  5. Don't abuse your subscription in any other way.
  6. Just use it like a normal human being to read a book.
  7. Close it when you are not actively using it.

Why should I pay for access to "an Internet within the Internet"? The economist Milton Friedman famously said, "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.", abbreviated to "TANSTAAFL". The same principle applies to web pages and other "free" services, such as social media, on the Internet. It is very costly to operate the servers that provide you with those "free" services. Those costs are either funded by subjecting you to propoganda (advertising) or are justified as "customer acquisition" expenses ("loss leaders") to get you to upgrade to a paid version. For less than 10 cents (0.10 USD) per day, you can experience an Internet that does NOT have third-party advertising and does not have a predatory look and feel. As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for".

90% of the cost of operating a server is due to the utter stupidity of the design of the current Internet. Billions of dollars are spent every year on Cloudflare "scrubbing" and similar technologies to mitigate DDOS attacks so that servers can serve you that "free" web page. IdeaNet (tm) Books by IdeaFarm (tm) doesn't need any of that nonsense because it has a better design. The inevitable migration to IPv6, combined with the emergence of supersized and metastasized DDOS driven by malicious AI bots, will destroy the conventional Internet. Technologies such as ["IPv6 Sparse Random Addressing"], which is what powers IdeaNet (tm) Books by IdeaFarm (tm), are the future. You can be a part of that emerging future, in a front-row seat, by subscribing today.

Our servers do occasionally go down for a few minutes. Criminal and government bad actors do target and attack domains such as IDEAFARM.COM. Although our technology is inherently hardened, our servers do go down occasionally due to attacks and also for other reasons. The best way to reduce attacks is to expect them and to not care about losing access for a few minutes. Bad actors won't attack our servers if they know that our subscribers won't "freak out" and won't even care.

Why should I subscribe today rather than wait to see whether this new system succeeds and grows? The subscription price will never be lower and is likely to rise as content is added. Subscribe today and you will "lock in" today's price. Subscription identifiers are assigned sequentially starting with 1. Subscribers with low identifiers will have "founding subscriber" status and will enjoy special privileges given as thank you rewards.

How will subscribing today improve my social life and give me success? The best way to improve your social life and find success is to be selective in who you put into your life. Some people will reject our invitation, while other people will enthusiastically accept it. Which of the two groups do you think would be better for you to be in community with? If you think that our invitation will attract the kind of people that you would like to be in community with, then subscribe!

The IdeaNet books listed below are coming soon. Access to some books will be included; other books will require a separate subscription.

Some of the books will present original art that the owner of IdeaNet (tm) Books by IdeaFarm (tm) has placed into the public domain. That owner retains copyright and the right to control usage of text and software, but generally places other intellectual property, such as patentable design innovations and concepts, into the public domain. In particular, the following innovations are placed into the public domain:

  1. Calculating secret time-based IPv6 addresses using a shared secret. (The IdeaNet (tm) Books system.)
  2. Supplementing the study of "what is true" (conventional science) with the study of "what might be true" (artificial macrocosms). (ICIS.)
  3. Delivering universal education by subscription to equip We The People (every adult person) with an accurate and useful elementary understanding of economics and society. (ICIS.)
  4. Contributing to current advanced research in economic theory. ("Advanced Economic Theory for We The People".)
  5. Creation of a quasi-religious organization to promote unselfish living. (IFO.)
  6. Creation of a worldwide "I.T. department" to empower We The People with an innovative software craftwork environment and a new kind of social media. (IPDOS (tm).)
  7. Construction of "a New World for our time", a sovereign "place" in Cyberspace, where every human being on the planet can freely speak and associate. (IFC.)
  8. Construction of a new kind of "World Wide Web" that is "paid access only" and that is practically immune to attack. (IdeaNet (tm) Books.)
  9. Creating a new form of writing that organizes ideas in a tree rather than linearly. (IdeaFarm (tm) Knowledge Trees.)

ICIS - IdeaFarm (tm) College of Imagination Science (included free): A correspondence school for busy working adults of all education levels, from persons who struggle reading English to persons with graduate degrees. The core feature distinguishing ICIS is that all courses of study are based upon the idea that what MIGHT BE true can be more important than what IS true. Conventional scientific method is designed to reveal what IS true. The method used in all ICIS programs is more like mathematics. It is designed to reveal logical possibilities and to expose hypotheses about the world that are logically impossible. Some programs in ICIS are designed to complement contemporary science and are for advanced students. But most programs are designed to give normal, busy, working adults a logical and likely practical understanding of their world.

Elementary Economic Theory for We The People (included free): A textbook for the Introductory Economics course sequence in ICIS. Written for busy adults of all education levels and backgrounds, this book introduces key elementary concepts required for a practical understanding of the economic system. The most useful standard topics are covered, as well as novel ideas professed and developed by ICIS faculty.

Advanced Economic Theory for We The People (included free): A textbook for the advanced economic theory course sequence in ICIS. Written for full time students who have completed a conventional graduate degree program (M.A., Ph.D.) in economic theory. Focuses on advanced topics currently being researched by ICIS faculty, and the ideas that they profess.

IFO - IdeaFarm Operations, Incorporated (included free): A California nonprofit religious membership corporation. The mission of IFO is to promote unselfish living. This is pursued by organizing face to face "eat together" groups, called "villages", worldwide. Such villages can be faith-based, hosted by religious faith communities, and limited to persons who embrace and practice a particular religious tradition. But a village can also be secular and open to all persons regardless of religious belief and practice. All villages must be open to persons of all races. The common element is that every participant is committed to living unselfishly in community with others who have made the same commitment.

IFC - IdeaFarm (tm) City - Federal Constitutional Protectorate of the United States of America (included free): A sovereign "place" on the Internet. IFC is a "micronation" with a serious purpose and a serious claim to sovereignty. The serious purpose is to empower "We The People" against "The Evil Establishment" economically, socially, and politically, in every territorial nation. The serious claim to sovereignty is based upon the Governing Proprietor's constitutional rights, primarily under the First Amendment, as a citizen of the United States of America. Activities within IFC that consist solely of speech and/or association and that have no nexus with the territory or currency of any nation are deemed to occur in a sovereign "place" on the Internet that is not subject to the jurisdiction of any territorial nation. As a practical matter, the government of IFC is friendly to the territorial Nation-State system and is, as constituted, required to refrain from interfering with the internal affairs of any territorial nation. The strategic objective of IFC is to introduce people worldwide to the ideas that (1) they are not the property of the territorial nation in which they reside, and (2) it is an inalienable human right to speak and associate freely in "places" on the Internet such as IFC. IFC government will not consent to taxation or regulation by any territorial government, and when such matters arise, IFC will suggest that the territorial government in issue simply block the IdeaNet (tm) Books IPv6 prefix within its territory. Each territorial nation that seeks to tax or regulate the speech and/or association activities within IFC must thus choose between recognizing the sovereignty of IFC and foregoing the benefits of access to all content on IdeaNet (tm) Books by IdeaFarm (tm).

IdeaNet (tm) Books by IdeaFarm (tm) (included free): Introduces and provides an overview, including features and benefits, as well as a guide for readers and a guide for writers. This system provides a superior alternative to the conventional World Wide Web. Each "book" is a web site and is viewed using whichever browser the person uses to view conventional web pages. But the computers that serve such "books" can only be contacted by using a custom program file that is emailed to each person who subscribes for access to the system. This can be done on any personal computer running MS Windows, but requires IPv6 connectivity.

IdeaFarm (tm) Knowledge Trees (included free): Introduces and provides an overview, including features and benefits, as well as a guide for readers and a guide for writers. You are viewing a page of an IdeaFarm (tm) Knowledge Tree. Such writing is distinguished from conventional writing in that many sentences are clickable. Clicking on the first sentence of a paragraph causes the reader to "climb up" one level in the tree, to view the page for that paragraph. That page will display one additional level of detail. Clicking on any other sentence in a paragraph causes the reader to "climb up" two levels in the tree, to view the page for that sentence. That page will display two additional levels of detail. Your browser is used in the normal way except that you cannot use its "Back" button. Instead, you revisit pages by clicking "previous" or "next" or "down" links at the top of each page. IdeaFarm (tm) Knowledge Trees are both easier to write and easier to read, due to this powerful yet simple and uniform structure.

IPDOS (tm) - IdeaFarm (tm) Piggyback Distributed Operating System (included free): A general purpose programming environment for the C++ language. IPDOS (tm) is proprietary open source. Think of IPDOS (tm) as a global information technology "I.T. department" for We The People, worldwide. This book provides an introduction, overview, features and benefits, a guide, and a reference manual.

IDEAFARM.COM presents an exciting new vision for humanity, a new possibility. Although the vision is more general, we are motivated by re (three) urgent needs in the world generally and in the United States of America in particular. Human life can quickly become much better (prosperity, peace, and wisdom) than it currently is. It can also quickly become much worse (chaos, war, and ignorance). To gain prosperity and avoid war, We The People in every territorial nation must (1) get morals right, (2) get gender right and (3) get race right. The immediate practical objective of IDEAFARM.COM is to make it possible to get morals, gender, and race right in the United States of America and worldwide.

At IDEAFARM.COM, you will hear what you need to hear rather that what you want to hear. Wo (one) hard, cold fact is that as young people in America, you are not capable of preserving the freedom and prosperity that you were born into. At 20 years old, you still think like children, and that is because your parents, in their 40's, still think like children. Neither you nor they have a clue how the world really works. This is not your fault, and it really isn't even your parents' fault. Click the image to watch the interview of Grace Jo, a North Korean defector, and you will begin to have your first clue about what is at stake regarding your own future. The reality in North Korea can become the reality in the United States of America in a single generation, and you are that generation.

IDEAFARM.COM is equally for men and women and is for adults of all races, religions, and cultures worldwide. Jan Jekielek interviewed a Christian man, Nick Freitas, a former Green Beret and Virginia state legislator, presenting his contribution to "getting gender right". Although he expresses his views using Christian concepts, and he is only looking at the male half of gender, those views align very closely with the content currently presented in IdeaFarm (tm) Books by IdeaFarm (tm). Click the following book cover image to view the interview:

The following 13 minute stand-up comedy performance is the most culturally significant video on the Internet. This is streamed from an unmodified copy of the source video. (We made the copy solely to ensure that this historic recording, this cultural treasure, is not lost to humanity.) Chris Rock reportedly never performed this comedy set again to avoid encouraging the use of "nigger" by White racists. It seems far more likely that he was silenced by death threats made by Black People. More than 50 years have passed since Dr. Martin Luther King gave his, "I have a dream" speech, yet the behaviors that Chris Rock lampoons in his 1996 set are still widespread throughout the United States. Dr. King had a dream. We of IDEAFARM.COM have a plan!
