Within a village, the concepts of Good and Evil can play a part in the "way of life" of the village, but do not operate outside of the village myth.

Good and Evil can apply to individuals who do, or do not, perform their roles faithfully, to the village and to neighboring villages (we are good, they are evil), and to the spirits and gods who control whether game is plentiful and who becomes sick. Used in this way, these concepts merely serve to partition the "world" into friends and foes. The concept of "Good and Evil" is defined by the myth (world view) of each village, and exists within that myth because it prospers the village.
